We seek to diversify the craft beer world by introducing all people to the joys of craft beer while introducing craft beer drinkers to the beauty of Latino American culture. Beer Thug Brewing Co. will offer beer, food, music, and aesthetics reminiscent of traditional, contemporary, and postmodern Latino culture.

Why you joined the craft beer industry:
I initially was all in on Beer Thug Life (now Beer Thug Brewing) to help my father out with his dream. I quickly fell in love with the brewery lifestyle and finally found out what I wanted to do with my life. I started out helping him brew at home, canning at different breweries, and delivering our contract brews to liquor stores all over southern California in a beat up 1990 Ford F-150. (It always broke down)
When you joined the craft beer industry:
I started in 2017 simply recording and editing Beer Thug Life videos. I was still under 21 so I didn’t actively start doing the hands on stuff till 2019.

Why you joined the craft beer industry:
The first time I tried a craft beer I was amazed that there was more out there than Corona and Modelo. It was a whole new world for me. Then one of my best friends started working at a brewery. I applied for a job there and got hired, too. It was great to work with my best friend and build a community there. Now I get to pour great beer in the neighborhood where I grew up. It’s the best.

Why you joined the craft beer industry:
I don't know if it was fate or something else, but I got into this industry accidentally. I spent 12 years in the culinary field, and helped open the kitchen at the dankness dojo. I was one of the many unfortunate ones that was laid off. By that time, I was already into craft beer and chugging. Well I saw an ad saying that Arts District Brewing was looking for cooks. I applied, but the guy I was supposed to talk to wasn't there. Ended up talking to the bar manager, cracked a joke and got a job behind the bar. Now I am here at BeerThug Brewing.

A delicious west coast IPA. Nothing beats it.
